SS Pz NCO LAH Kharkov (11)

Having too much bikes and cars for some weeks, I think I will have this little figure on my bench as a little break. I have got the scarf and the telescope painted. I always hesitated when thinking about the scarf, as the pattern has to be painted very accurately and carefully. But after a simple try on paper, I think I would be able to realise it on the figure.

To brighten up the figure a bit, I have this scarf in red, so as the boxart was done. I think the result look just fine on this picture but I do think I could have done this better on the real stuffs.
I will have the gloves and the boots painted next and will start preparing the floor.

Grabbing up similar stuffs with the other CLK-GTR, these surfaces of these rides are all ready now. I will have to start working on the door locks before any painting works happen.

Honda Jazz (5)

All the 3 rides have been painted now so the coming works will be on their chassis and cockpit respectively.

Mercedes Benz CLK GTR (4)

The body work has almost been done for the CLK GTR, so what is left is the cockpit alignment with the door panels. I have spent a day working on the cockpit so the door panels can be fitted in as if they are from the main console. Painting work will soon be start as soon as the fine details are done here.

Honda Jazz (4)

Having these bodies sanded and cleaned, they are ready for paints. Home is empty tonight so it has been a very good moment for spraying work.

I have managed to has a good mix of paints for the Nissan March. First I laid a layer of Finisher Foundation Pink on it. And then I have the auto paint sprayed on it. It was a very transparent golden orange, which I could hardly spray evenly over the surface. Also, the color itself didn't quite match the color of Dora's ride. So afterall, I have mixed a custom orange base and added some of this golden orange for its pearl portion. The mix looks good at my first sight, so I sprayed it over on top and got it done.

For the Jazz, I started on Jay's ride as it is also laid with Finisher Foundation Pink. All of a sudden, I realised I didn't even cut open the roof for the roof window yet! I was so surprize and had to take out the tools for the mod. At a quick surgery, the roof has been opened and primer was ready. I laid the Foundation Pink again, followed by a layer of Finisher Bright red.

for Ronald's ride, I will have to look out for a good choice of paint as well or I will have to custom mix it again. Anyway, I hope to have the bodies painted in these couple of weeks so I can have the clear coat over the Xmas holidays.

Mercedes Benz CLK GTR (3)

Both doors are 80% fitting back on the main frame. The next step is to prepare how the door panels and cockpit can be fitted together.

Looks like I will need to check if I have lost any parts as the kit has been opened for years. And so I have also started another "Sportswear" CLK so I can have a stock kit as reference in the mean time.

Mercedes Benz CLK GTR (2)

Door frame on the left has been fitted and should be able to hold on its own for the time being. But after adding some more panels at the back, I don't think any hinge recreation can hold it at all.

Mercedes Benz CLK GTR (1)

This, in fact, was a kit that I have started a few years back. I was about to open both of its doors and try to enhance "a little" on its tail. However, works are all delayed, or prosponded, as I have been working on all those Rossi bikes.... So attention was always laid on bike than this GT.

So at the moment, I was trying to clear up stuffs that I have started so far and try to make a break from the bikes. This would be a total clean up of old stuff, so probably I would not have too much efforts on it, just try to get it done right.

Honda Jazz (3)

After sanding a couple of nights, front lip of Ronald's ride is ready. The 3 kits are all about to be painted.

Honda Jazz (2)

Here is a pic of the front lip on Ronald's ride. I have tried to scratch build it with plastic sheets.

Honda Jazz (1)

2 of my friends, Ronald and Jay have both got a Honda Jazz recently. So, I would like to have them both built as delicated to my friends. Hopefully these are straight forward builds with "just a little" details adding into them. Jay's ride is a bit straight forward, while Ronald's ride had a front lip and a rear wing which I will have to scratch build a bit. Hope to see them done together with our lovely Nissan March for Dora as well.
