Tonight I had the sand yellow painted and I have actually thinned it with plenty of white color so I get more contrast from the surface. But from the pic it seems I have overdone a bit. Probably I will fix the color tune again tomorrow before I have the other colors on it.
Finally I have made up my mind to put it as the #314 Porsche Tiger. I have been thinking of the #10, 11, 13 livery as well. But I would like to try the winter camo anyway.

Ford Focus - Monza Rally 2007
Hello brothers! THis time, I am starting another kit with the #46 on its windows. This is the winner ride in the Monza Rally 2007 during the off season from the MotoGP schedule, with Valentino Rossi have had fun again in this race.
It has been a while for me to have another race car kit and hopefully I can get it done straight from box. I will try to detail a bit with the plastics if things are not prepared by Hasegawa well enough. But we'll see.
The first time opening the kit, a couple of parts have been enhenced already. The first is the intake on the roof. The empty space can barely been seen and that is why I have deepen the edge a little more, so when it paint it in dark black later on, it give better view.
Next is the dashboard, the panel line next to the dash was barely seen. I believe it is the original part from the legendary Ford Focus by Hasegawa back from the 2000. So the parts were molded a lot and the quality has dropped badly. I have reworked the lines afterall and hopefully when I refer to more reference pictures, I will be able to spot other items around for enhencement.

Finally, the photo etching arrived and I can resume the progress. The barrel has been assembled and a Lionroar metal barrel is used this time. However, I found it very strang when I attach the shield onto the turret. Really not sure if I have done something wrong or not yet. The space is so tight that I don't think the barret can swing up and down logically....

Valentino Rossi - Team Fiat Yamaha 2009 (15)
At the swing arms, some serious works are done as the original parts barely close to the real thing.
The first thing to be done was to fill up the inner wall with putty so the visible areas aon the swing arsm are recreated. Afterwards the weldings are also replicated with some heated plastic rods from the kit. These heated rods becomes very thin strings so I can easily melt and reshape with cutters or some other metal objects to form the welding shapes.
I also have got to wipe out some areas at the tails so I can put on the photo etching more easily.
Some screws were wiped out and metal screws will be replacing them.
After these steps, the swing arms are prepared for painting and further enhencement with metal parts. I have work on the 2004 M1 swing arms altogether and this save a lot of works.

The steel wheels are cut off from the parts and pre-assmebled.
I have got a reference from a local translated magazine. Some of the option parts are suggested for some later variations of Tiger I. And now I think I am going to put this kit into the famious 007 Micheal Wittmann Tiger. Hope things will be fine as I am order some of the photo etchings for this.
