It has been really fun to learn how to deal with Chrome paints.
I am trying out the Vallejo Model Air Metallic paint on this. And surprisingly it is very easy to apply. I can easily blend the silver paint with gloss black paint to come up with the right weathered metal surface. And after a few trial, I managed to get the helmet painted!
Then I worked on the leather parts as well as the shield, which of cox took me quite some time to develop the right shape, right dimensions and the right texture.
This is quite a satisfactory build for my officially second bust. And I hope you will enjoy it too. Thank.

I have been super busy at work these few months so there is almost nothing going on on my new desk...
Yet, I have finally found some quality time over the weekends and basically I have got this kit done in 2 days!
WOW! What a speed! Cox 1) the parts have already been trimmed and sanded a bit a few months back; and 2) there is no polishing I have done on it at all and I just go around it treating it like a AFV kit. So here is a super quick kit and run.
I hope you would enjoy it. Thanks.

I really cannot imagine how my profession would have impact my modeling this much... I have taken in fact almost 2 years to have this kit build straight! OMG I really cannot believe this is happening to me....

Here is my recent work on the Nutz Planet bust.
After a couple of larger scale paintings, I think I am getting more touches on how large scale figures/ busts are to be painted. This is going to be a serious try out and should hopefully become a much better work.
Hope you guys will enjoy and I promise I will keep you posted.
Black and grey primers are appied
Basic skin tone are allocated.
Some more detail paint job on face.
Started preparing the chain armor.
Still getting more practices on chain armor....
