This time, I have sat down on my desk and work out the figure heads with a much proper lighting setup. The result is much better and I think I will be settling down at this stage.

Here are 2 more german faces that I have worked during the weekend. Though, I am not really very satisified with the result yet. I think I will have to practise more on this skin tone for some while....

Here I have the German infantryman started first as a start of the practise. I have tried to used a different shadow color to see if I can have the color tone cooler instead. This works pretty well as my first trial. And I have also tried to give a little red nose to him so the story can be told more easily. LOL. Hope the rest goes well.

This is a 1:35 figure kit from Ukarine factory, Master box.
These figures are all molded very nicely and detailed. And they will serve as my another painting practise of this scale before I have another Alpine figure.
